Montgomery Theater, Too

Montgomery Theater, Too is a unique program that offers young people (ages 7-18) the opportunity to audition for and be cast in professional, family-friendly productions. The experience creates an unusual learning opportunity in which each person works in a team of both young people and adult actors to build a production from the ground up. The magic of this partnership is that all participants, young and old, experienced or not, work together to deliver a polished, professional product.

Since 2010, Montgomery Theater, Too has been producing one world premiere children's play each season. This addition to the program offers new learning opportunities for participants as they learn about the play development process and the interplay between directors, writers and actors. It also serves the industry by offering a venue for burgeoning playwrights from the Philadelphia area to have their work produced, and contributes to the available family-friendly plays.
