Thomas Hanratty, lifelong resident of Hell's Kitchen and once the most dangerous cab driver in New York City, was blinded eight years ago in a drunken accident and is fading into a routine of self pity and alcohol. When he is about to lose his only friend to a new life in Vermont a volunteer reader from the Blind School is recruited in an attempt to break through Tom's shell.  The result is a battle of wills and wits that proves beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder and reminds us that our eyes can sometimes get in the way of our seeing.

Opening Night on February 7 will be followed by an after-party with free beer from Free Will Brewing. Admittance to the party is included in the ticket price.

“A funny and touching comedy. The jokes fly fast and furious! A sweet play that champions the healing power of love and friendship.”
— LA Weekly
“Critics choice! It may be the best play whose central character is blind since Frederick Knott’s Broadway hit Wait Until Dark. Succeeds marvelously. Fresh, funny, and touching.”
— Drama-Logue
