Join Us for Musicals

For as long as we can remember, the following has been true: everyone loves a musical!

Our most popular production each year is always the musical. Our stage is really the perfect place to see musicals. Not only are these shows always a showcase for some of the top voices in Philadelphia, but our small venue brings you close to the action—close enough to our professional actors that you can really hear them sing! Staged in unique ways with interesting sets and a small group of players, these productions are sure to get you immersed this season!

The Marvelous Wonderettes

This smash off-Broadway hit takes you to the 1958 Springfield High School prom where we meet four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts! As we learn about their lives and loves, the girls serenade us with classic '50s hits including "Lollipop," "Dream Lover," "Stupid Cupid," and "Lipstick on Your Collar." In act two, the Wonderettes reunite to take the stage and perform at their ten-year reunion. We learn about the highs and lows the girls have experienced in the past decade and are charmed to find that no matter what life throws their way, they will conquer it together. Featuring over 30 classic '50s and '60s hits, The Marvelous Wonderettes will keep you smiling in this must-take musical trip down memory lane!

The Carols

It's Christmastime in the small town of Picatinny, NJ during World War II and the local VFW is empty. The community waits for their loved ones to return from foreign battlefields and no one is particularly interested in the Hall's annual performance of A Christmas Carol. Enter a trio of sisters and their post-war dreams, their curmudgeonly landlady with a pre-war past, and a silent pianist, and the show, such as it is, must go on. This quintet is joined by an itinerant Jewish comedian, out on his own and looking for work after a Catskills bust. With no audience to perform for except themselves, this mall group of holiday orphans craft A Christmas Carol all their own, rewriting and unraveling Dickens' classic tale, as they bring their own stories of hope lost and found to the stage.
